“Without the love, it’s just coffee.” PT’s Coffee Roasting Co., based in Kansas, clearly has a passion for coffee and sharing it with others, as their motto indicates. So when designing packaging for their cold brew offerings, the company considered all aspects and details to create a work of art.

“Our marketing team aimed to create a look and feel that was appealing to the eyes, the hands, and the mouth. By incorporating custom printed glass bottles, digitally printed caps, and paper bags that we could print on internally, we devised a way to do just that! The distressed paper bags give the product a unique flair while the custom glass bottles and help retain brand awareness if/when the bag is discarded. The design focuses on emphasizing the countries of origin for these specialty coffees as well as the craftsmen who grow them.”

The paper bags and amber bottles give the coffees a retro feel while also being functional. The chocolate-y browns and bright orange caps blend seamlessly together, providing the purchaser with valuable information about each brew. The big goal for PT’s Coffee Roasting Co. was to create a packaging that was fun, one-of-a-kind, and easy to take on the road, and they have certainly succeeded.

“Sold individually and in packs of four, the cold brews can be enjoyed from anywhere – beside a lake on your next camping trip, at a friend’s BBQ party, or for the classic pick-me-up in the morning. Anything goes.”
