PT's is a 2020 Good Food Awards Finalist!
We're proud to announce that our roast of Hacienda La Esmeralda Mario Natural—a prized geisha from one of Panama’s premier coffee producers—is a finalist for the 2020 Good Food Awards!
Mario Natural is a selection from La Esmeralda's Special Reserve collection, which is sold in limited quantities by Direct Trade outside of Esmeralda's auction. The cup is lusciously fruity and complex—a beautiful example of a Central American natural-process geisha.
Mario Natural is available now for preorder—first roast Tuesday, November 12th.
The Good Food Awards recognize exceptional quality and flavor, in tandem with high standards for environmental and social responsibility, across many categories of food and drink. The Awards are an initiative of the Good Food Foundation, established in 2010, which aims “to enable small business owners devoted to ‘tasty, authentic, and responsible food’ to thrive. It helps people with a commitment to seasonality, tradition, land stewardship, social good, and outstanding flavor succeed in their work to create better food—and society—for all.”
Category winners will be announced on January 17th, 2020, at the awards ceremony at San Francisco’s War Memorial & Performing Arts Center.
PT’s won a Good Food Award in 2013 with Nano Challa, a washed Ethiopian heirloom coffee.
