A limited offering of three stunning natural-process selections from Café Granja La Esperanza:

Sudan Rume: notes of cherry, honeysuckle, and blood orange, with a round body.

Cerro Azul Gesha: notes of berry jam, rose, and mango, with a silky body.

Gesha "XO": notes of bergamot, blackberry, and nutmeg, plus an herbal finish.

Each coffee is encased in a resealable 50g glass jar and stacked inside a Blue Label tube. Coffee details are included on the lid of each jar.

50g is enough to brew one full Chemex (if you're in the mood to share), or two single-serve pourovers (e.g. Kalita, Hario V60, Melitta). We hope you'll enjoy tasting these special coffees side by side!

The Story

Nearly a century old, and spread across five farms in Valle del Cauca and Cundinamarca, Colombia, Café Granja La Esperanza has taken great strides under the Herrera brothers’ leadership and forward-thinking vision. In the last decade, the farm has transitioned away from traditional commodity-market coffees to the delicate and exquisite varieties coveted by the specialty coffee industry.

The brothers' willingness to experiment with rare varieties like Sudan Rume, Laurina, Mokka, and others has earned numerous accolades from the SCAA and Roasters Guild. They are also known for their fair and innovative production and labor practices—optimal work conditions are a priority at the estate, where workers are paid fair wages and child labor is not permitted.
