As of Monday, 8/2, our Crossroads and Power & Light cafes will once again require masks for customers and staff in indoor settings in accordance with Kansas City's reinstated mask mandate. Thanks for your cooperation!
Our cafes are open 7 days a week with indoor and outdoor seating available. Masks are required except when seated at a table to eat and drink.
New extended cafe hours:
Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the Kansas City metro area, our cafes will be making some changes:
As always, customers must wear masks when entering and ordering.
Per Governor Laura Kelly's order of June 29th, all customers visiting PT's at Wheatfield Village will be required to wear masks starting on Friday, July 3rd.
Per Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas' order of June 26th, all customers visiting PT's at the Crossroads and PT's Power & Light will be required to wear masks starting on Monday, June 29th.
PT's at the Crossroads is now open for socially-distant dine-in service daily! 6AM - 6PM weekdays, 8AM - 6PM weekends.
At our warehouse, we will start roasting on Fridays again starting on May 29th.
PT's Power & Light is now open regular hours: 6:30AM - 6PM weekdays, 8AM - 6PM weekends. Full drink menu and limited food menu available for takeout only, now with online ordering!
PT's at the Crossroads is open for takeout Monday through Saturday.
The dining area at our Wheatfield Village cafe is now open for limited dine-in service daily. Tables have been spaced out and floor markings aid with social distancing while waiting in line. Tables and chairs are sanitized frequently and all food & drink is served in disposable takeout containers. Condiments, sweeteners, etc. are behind the counter and our baristas will be happy to help fix up your drinks.
Our Power & Light location is now open 8AM-2PM, Monday through Saturday, for takeout service!
Employees are washing hands/gloving before preparing each order; sanitizing the sneeze guard no less than every 30 minutes; and wearing masks. Occupancy is limited to 3 customers at a time, with ground markings to aid in social distancing. The food menu is limited to breakfast burritos, bagels, and pastries.
We hope to see you there! If you'd like to arrange for curbside pickup, feel free to call (816) 895-2223 to place your order.
Starting on Friday, April 10th, we are adjusting our fulfillment schedule to help limit travel for our small staff amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For the time being, we will no longer roast and ship on Fridays. Orders placed between 4PM Wednesday and 9AM Thursday will roast on Thursday instead of Friday, and orders placed after 9AM Thursday will roast on Monday. See our Shipping FAQs for more details. Thanks for bearing with us!

As we all navigate the unfamiliar terrain of COVID-19, we would like to assure you that we are closely following public health recommendations from local and state health departments, the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, and the World Health Organization in order to maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment at our cafes.
Here are a few of the precautions we put into place last week:
• We’re serving all beverages in disposable cups and will not fill reusable mugs.
• Milk, sugar, lids, etc. are now kept behind the counter—our baristas are happy to fix up your coffee for you!
• Surfaces are sanitized frequently and staff has increased hand-washing.
• Payment via credit card or contactless methods encouraged.
Please stay home if you feel unwell, but we’re here for anyone who needs a dose of normalcy in anxious times. We appreciate your support more than ever!
At our Topeka roasting facility, we’re still cranking out coffee with the following precautions in place:
• Limiting non-essential personnel and allowing no visitors.
• Restricting our Quality Control lab to essential staff for quality assessments.
• Retraining all staff on hygiene and food safety protocols.
We’ll continue to monitor public health guidelines as they evolve and will adjust our procedures company-wide accordingly.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
Stay healthy out there!
