Welcome to the new and improved, ptscoffee.com! This new website has been in development since early spring, and we are so excited to finally share it with you! I would like to take this time to first introduce myself to you. My name is Steven Seitz and my position at PT’s is Customer Service and Internet Development. I have been one of the many hands working on the new website, and if you ever have questions or concerns about the new layout, feel free to call or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. The site is still very much a work in progress.
The most important thing I want to share with you is that we are still using our current e-commerce administration system. What this means, is that your accounts are all still active. Your information does not need to be re-entered, and you will not need to create a new account when you place your order. In addition, since it is the same e-commerce system, none of your personal information or payment information had to be moved or transferred.
The upgrade has been a thought of ours over the last couple of years. As technology changes and innovates into the future, our web page was starting to show its age. The new website is more informative with a focus on the farmers. We have added new educational aspects to the site. One of the most informative pages is our “Meet Our Farmers” page. This page highlights our partners at origin, and will have detailed trip reports that will be updated after our visits. We still have more profiles to add, before it is all said and done, there will be at least six more Farmer Profiles on our website. To name a few, Jose Antonio Salaverria – Jasal, the Peterson Family – Hacienda La Esmeralda, Mauricio Rosero – Finca Villa Loyola, Carmelo & Juan Yujra – Bolivia, Armanado Benavides Portilla – Finca Santa Maria, Aida Batlle – Finca Kilimanjaro, and more as our relationships continue to develop.
Our brew guides and instructions have also become more detailed on the new website. Many of those will be added as we move forward through the next few weeks.
The “Our Café” page is dedicated to our retail location in Topeka, Kansas, and will grow to feature detailed information about our staff, event updates, and a current menu that is updated weekly.
Our new web site is still a work in progress. We couldn’t wait to share it with you. We appreciate your feedback! Let me know what you think about the new ptscoffee.com!
