Our coffees were submitted to a professional panel of judges who cupped the coffees blind. The Good Food Awards for coffee are determined by exemplary flavor – sweet, clean, well developed body, balanced acidity and phenomenal aromatics. In addition to the results of the cupping, in order for coffees to qualify for the award, the producers and roasters needed to emphasize fairness and transparency from seed to cup. Environmental sustainability at the farm level is also a determining factor in the competition.
The Good Food Awards celebrates food that is not only tasty, but authentic and responsibly produced. The awards are given to nine categories: beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, coffee, confections, pickles, preserves and spirits.
